The semi-final round of the 2026 World Cup kicks off Tuesday in Texas, with heavyweights France and Spain set to clash for a spot in the final.
France have been an attacking force in this tournament, scoring nearly three goals per game so far. Their most recent outing was a 2-0 victory over Morocco in which Les Bleus were dominant, with Kylian Mbappé staying atop the Golden Boot race thanks to his 60th-minute goal.
With the French putting on a display with their goals, it's fitting that the team standing between them and another World Cup final is Spain. La Roja have been stingier than any other side in this summer's tournament, allowing just a single goal against across their six matches thus far.
That lone goal came in the quarter-finals, when the Spanish edged past Belgium 2-1 to book their place in this game.
