Gabriel Magalhaes shares season ambitions, toughest forward he's ever faced in exclusive fan chat

Gabriel took part in a live, interactive DAZN experience on Thursday that allows fans to ask questions directly via a new, groundbreaking app feature powered by The Residency, connecting fans with their football heroes.

It was during this chat that the 28-year-old revealed his personal ambitions for the spring and summer. 

"Win titles with Arsenal and the Brazilian national team," Gabriel wrote when asked by a chat user headerbound4165 about his dream for this season.

The Gunners are, of course, headed to the Champions League final at the end of the month and continue to lead the Premier League with just a handful of games remaining in the campaign, with the defender a key member of the side.

Additionally, Brazil will always be considered a contender at every major tournament they are in, so Gabriel expects a lengthy run in this summer's FIFA World Cup, where the South American team headlines Group C.

But before he joins his national teammates in North America, Gabriel still has a lot of work to do with Arsenal. The season has been a rewarding one for the Brazilian, who lists his favourite match of the current campaign as "the last game against Atletico in the Champions [League]," which sent the Gunners to the May 30 final against PSG.

When asked by chat user mackenzie3618 about how he is going to prepare for that match, Gabriel simply stated: "In the best possible way."

The team PSG ousted to reach the final was Bayern Munich, which is led by a prolific striker that Gabriel is very familiar with.

When he was asked by chat user who the hardest player he's had to defend, Gabriel listed his former North London derby nemesis: "Harry Kane."
