Harry Maguire labels Man United teammate as 'the best he's seen' following Brentford win

Harry Maguire has labelled his Manchester United teammate Casemiro as "the best I've seen and worked with" following their win over Brentford on Monday night.
United beat the London side 2-1 at Old Trafford, with Maguire's header setting up Casemiro for the game's opening goal in the 11th minute.
After what has been a period of stability under interim manager Michael Carrickk, a rebuild is set to get underway for United once the season ends, and Brazil's Casemiro will play no part with the 34-year-old set to leave in the summer.
How vital has Casemiro been for Man United's resurgence?
Before Carrick's arrival in January, Casemiro was often subject to criticism.
He struggled with the tactics imposed by Ruben Amorim and became a liability. Under Carrick however, it's a different story.
In his 13 matches, Casemiro has scored five goals and provided one assist, not a bad return for someone who not long ago was a laughing stock.
His contributions have been vital with United in a comfortable position to secure Champions League football next season.
Speaking to Sky Sports after the win over Brentford, Maguire stated that Casemiro is the best player he's worked with, and made no secret that without him, United would not be finishing the season on a strong footing.
"I thought I was good at heading and attacking the ball in the box, but Casemiro, his timing, his leap, his aggression, his technique, it’s the best I’ve seen and worked with," Maguire said when reflecting on Casemiro's performance.
"He’s really clinical and he’s been a massive boost for this season because without his goals, we would be nowhere near where we are in the table."
Maguire reveals key change under Carrick compared to Amorim
United have looked more comfortable under Carrick compared to predecessor Amorim, having previously struggled to adapt to the Portuguese's tactical choices.
Instead of playing a back three, which left United vulnerable in defence, Carrick has reverted to a back four, and with Maguire at the centre of it, the Red Devils are a much more defensively sound unit.
Maguire acknowledged this, but insisted that there are still improvements to be made.
"I think we can still get a lot better at this formation, we can work as a back four, slide across the pitch quicker which I feel like we should have done in the first half, I think we will get better the longer we work as a unit."
But while improvements are there to be made, Maguire signalled the formation change as a major reason as to why United have experienced a significant upturn in performances.
"The results speak for themselves since the manager’s come in and the formation’s changed; we just seem to pick up results.
"The games previously when Ruben was here, they were 50-50, but we ended up in a defeat, now it seems like it’s the other way round where we’re a lot better in both boxes.
"We defend our box a lot better and we’re managing to be clinical in the other box."
