As the top-ranked association in UEFA's coefficient system, England will have five teams in the league phase of the 2026-27 UEFA Champions League.
The top four finishers from the 2025-26 Premier League season (Arsenal, Manchester City, Manchester United and Aston Villa) qualified for the UCL by their league position. Liverpool qualified by finishing fifth in the Premier League, as England was allocated an extra UCL berth due to the country's coefficient.

Bournemouth and Sunderland qualified for the UEL by finishing sixth and seventh, respectively, in the 2025-26 Premier League season. Crystal Palace earned a UEL berth by winning the 2025-26 UEFA Conference League.

Brighton & Hove Albion qualified for the Conference League by finishing eighth in the 2025-26 Premier League.
