Mikel Arteta makes a huge decision at striker for Arsenal against PSG
The Champions League final on DAZN (US, CA, NZ)

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has made a big decision when it comes to who will lead his attack against PSG .

The two teams meet in the Champions League final this evening in Budapest in what is a European Cup final for the Gunners in 20 years.

PSG won their first Champions League last season, and will be looking to achieve the rare feat of retaining the trophy, but after winning the Premier League last weekend, Arsenal will be confident they can finish this season off in some style.

Arteta starts Havertz at striker instead of Gyokeres

One of the key decisions Arteta needed to make ahead of kick off was at striker, and for this showpiece match, he chose Kai Havertz over Viktor Gyokeres to lead Arsenal's attack.

Havertz will be part of a front three which will include Bukayo Saka and Leandro Trossard on the right and left wings respectively.

The German is no stranger to this match, he scored the winner against Manchester City in Chelsea's 1-0 win over Pep Guardiola's side five years ago.

While Gyokeres offers a more physical threat, Havertz has the edge technically, and will be able to establish a good link-up between the attack and midfield.

PSG defender Hakimi fit to start

For PSG, the only major concern was at fullback with Achraf Hakimi fitness.

However, the Moroccan has been passed fit to play, and as expected, the Gunners defence will have to battle against the dangerous attacking trio of Désiré Doué, Ousmane Dembélé and Ballon d'Or contender Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.
