Trevoh Chalobah highlights his best match for Chelsea, favourite player in exclusive fan chat

Performing under the bright lights of the Champions League has brought out the best of Trevoh Chalobah, according to the Chelsea defender.
Chalobah took part in a live, interactive DAZN experience on Thursday that allows fans to ask questions directly via a new, groundbreaking app feature powered by The Residency, connecting fans with their football heroes.
It was during this chat with fans that the 26-year-old revealed that his best performance in a Chelsea shirt took place in Europe's top club competition.
"Champions League game against Juventus in 2021," Chalobah wrote when asked about his top performance for the London side by chat user fitpro4191.
The match in question, a Group H clash at Stamford Bridge on Nov. 23, 2021, saw Chalobah score the opening goal as the Blues stormed to a 4-0 victory over the visiting Bianconeri.
Helping to keep a clean sheet that night, Chalobah lined up in a three-man back line alongside Antonio Rüdiger and the man that he calls his "idol."
When asked by ethan31826 who Chalobah believes is the best defender of all time, the centre-back replied with the anchor of that 2021 back line.
"Thiago Silva," Chalobah stated.
Chalobah's time at Chelsea hasn't all been rosy however, with the defender having to go out on several loans before establishing himself as a regular at Stamford Bridge. Even so, he was once again sent away last season on a half-season loan to Crystal Palace, appearing 14 times for the Eagles before returning to Chelsea and once again taking a place among the key contributors amid a turbulent time at the club.
For Chalobah, it was just part of the process of growing as a player.
"Everything happens for a reason," he said of his time spent at Palace. "I was motivated to come back and work hard."
