The first piece of major silverware of the 2025-26 season will be decided on Sunday as Arsenal and Manchester City lock horns in the Carabao Cup Final.
It's a first major final for the Gunners since 2020, while City are looking to win back a trophy they've won six times in the last dozen years.
But where would a win for either side put them on the all-time League Cup winners list? DAZN News counts down who has bagged the most trophies since the competition began in 1961.
Who has won the League Cup the most times?
The team who have won the League Cup the most times is Liverpool, who, since their first triumph in 1981, have gone on to win it four years in a row and on 10 occasions in total, with the last coming in 2024.
Manchester City are then next with eight wins, two ahead of rivals Manchester United, with Chelsea and Aston Villa tied on five wins each.
The only side outside of England to win the competition are Swansea City, who beat Bradford City in 2013 to lift the famous three-handle trophy.
