World Cup betting tips: Scotland vs. Brazil

It's tough to find a compelling angle that rewards well here, so we'll play it relatively safe with a 1.73 bet builder:

  • Lewis Ferguson to commit 2+ fouls
  • Jack Hendry to attempt 60+ passes

If you can find other combinations involving under 3.5 total goals or Vinicius Jr. scoring, go for it, or just place them as singles:

  • Under 3.5 total goals 1.91
  • Vinicius Jr. to score - 1.67

All odds provided by DAZN Bet. Check out all of their World Cup markets here.

Scotland vs. Brazil: Ferguson fouls and Hendry passes

Ferguson is a livewire, averaging 2.75 fouls in his last 10 games, and in those last 10, he's committed fewer than two fouls only once.

In a game where Scotland must fight for every ball, and in a midfield tussle against the likes of Bruno Guimarães - who draws more fouls per game than any other Brazilian player - Ferguson's a solid choice here.

Jack Hendry has averaged 58 pass attempts over his last 10 games, more than any other player in Steve Clarke's side.

He's surpassed 60 in three of his last six appearances for Scotland, had 74 against Morocco alone, and he's done that while Scotland haven't exactly been dominating possession.

Scotland vs. Brazil: Under 3.5 goals

Brazil clearly have the upper hand here, but four of Scotland's last six games have ended with only one goal.

Six of Brazil's last eight games have involved fewer than three goals, and some of those have involved weaker opposition than the Scots.

In what could be a nervy game, it might be a slightly tighter scoreline than some expect.

Scotland vs. Brazil: Vinicius Jr. to score

Vinicius Junior Brazil 16x9Dan Mullan / Staff

The Real Madrid man is in electrifying form, with three goals in his last four for Brazil.

He also comfortably leads Carlo Ancelotti's side in shots and shots on target, and his pace is likely to cause trouble for Grant Hanley at the back.

Odds correct as of June 22, 2026. Recommended bets are advised to over-18s.
