Kabayel eyes unification showdowns with Dubois and champ-in-waiting Itauma

Agit Kabayel has opened the door to potential unification showdowns with Daniel Dubois and Moses Itauma next year.
The WBC world heavyweight champion is rumoured to be in line to face Tyson Fury should the Mancunian’s long-awaited bout with Anthony Joshua not take place on November 20.
He remains tight-lipped about who he could box later this year in his first defence since being upgraded to full titleholder following Oleksandr Usyk’s decision to vacate his belts.
But he would be happy to take on WBO kingpin Dubois, or Moses should boxing’s rising star pick up the IBF crown against Filip Hrgovic later this evening.
“For me it’s no problem, I fight everyone,” he told DAZN's Jolie Sharpe. “First of all, I make my title defence this year. Next year, let’s go.”
Kabayel, 33, has not fought since January, when he defended the WBC interim crown by stopping Damian Knyba inside three rounds.
And being ringside at London’s O2 Arena for tonight’s main event between Moses and Hrgovic has left him itching to return.
He added: “Of course I’m ready [to get back in the ring]. I was born ready.
“I’m very bad at predictions… but the first two or three rounds in the fight are very important. I think Moses [will win], but we’ll see.
“Hrgovic is in shape. It’s an interesting fight.”

Like so many pundits and fans, Kabayel believes 21-year-old Moses will remain undefeated tonight to become the second-youngest world heavyweight champion in boxing history, with only the great Mike Tyson achieving the feat quicker.
“It’s a big fight,” he said while speaking to DAZN's Anna Woolhouse. “Hrgovic is in shape, he’s ready.
“I think Hrgovic will be the biggest test of his career. But Moses is fast, he’s very clever.
“There was some trouble yesterday at the weigh-in, so maybe that’s in his mind. We’ll see.
“What’s the next step [for me]? We wait. Maybe there will be news next week. I talked with Frank [Warren] today. We will see, but I’m ready.
“I’m the champion and becoming the undisputed champion is my next mission. That’s my next dream.”
