Gassiev rubber-stamps heavyweight crown

Joyce crumbles in overwhelmed comeback
Joe Joyce will faces questions over whether he has reached the end of the road after appearing to quit his comeback bout.

Joyce subsequently waved his right hand to suggest he was out in the eleventh, with the referee ultimately agreeing with him.

Jose Kadima secured another piece of the regional puzzle as the South African slugger took out Herbert Matovu inside one round.
The pair met in Gauteng for what proved to be a brief contest, as the former nabbed his latest knockout victory for a minor WBC strap.
With three straight wins in 2026 thus far, Kadima's team will hope to secure larger bouts beyond domestic level soon enough.
