DAZN News rounds up the biggest boxing stories on Friday, June 19.
Moses Itauma and Filip Hrgovic have reportedly finalised a deal to pit them together at London's The O2 Arena on August 29, per reports.
The Briton has been linked to a bout with the hard-hitting Croatian for some time, even before the latter stopped Dave Allen in three rounds.
An original late July-early August timeframe though was ultimately moved back, potentially to avoid a clash with Anthony Joshua-Kristian Prenga.
Now, Itauma appears set to wrap up the summer season with what promises to be a major contest against Hrgoivc, according to Sky Sports News.
Joe Joyce has opened the door to a potential Daniel Dubois rematch, calling a second dance between the pair "an attractive option" for him to take.
The former is one of only a few men to defeat 'Dynamite', handing him a tough loss back in 2020, before the latter reached world champion heights.
Joyce is seeking to rebuild himself, and told Sky Sports News that he could pursue another fight with the star, adding: "It's always an attractive option.
"Before I took [Zhilei] Zhang, which was a bad decision, I was WBO [interim champion. So it's just like a bit of a mistake that I'm going to rectify now."
Frank Warren has appeared to suggest neither he nor Eddie Hearn can promote Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua's bout if broadcast on Netflix.
The heavyweight duo are expected to contest a heavyweight fight at the end of 2026, but may do so without their long-time promoters behind them.
Queensberry supremo Warren suggested that due to both his deal and Matchroom's own with DAZN, their involvement may be limited on the clash.
"That will be on Netflix," he told talkSPORT. "That’s the position, so if the fight was in the UK and on Netflix, we couldn’t promote it anyway.
