The 20,000-capacity venue has welcomed the former undisputed world champion on multiple occasions since it opened its doors in 2016.

Who has Canelo Alvarez fought at T-Mobile Arena?

Canelo Alvarez has fought seven different opponents across nine fights at the T-Mobile Arena, with his first bout coming back in 2016 and his latest in 2024.

The Mexican first ventured into the ring there when he faced British boxer Amir Khan in May 2016, when he delivered a sixth-round KO to retain his middleweight titles.

He subsequently won by UD against  Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. a year later in May 2017, before he was held to a draw by  Gennady Golovkin four months later in September 2017.

One year later, Canelo claimed his revenge on Golovkin with a majority decision in September 2018, before another win by UD over  Daniel Jacobs in May 2019.

It would be another three years before he returned however, in May 2022, when he suffered his lone loss there after stepping up to light heavyweight against  Dmitry Bivol .

A trilogy victory against Golovkin the following September saw him return to winning ways, before another UD win over Jermell Charlo in September 2023.

In his most recent visit, Canelo defeated  Jaime Munguía , again by UD, in May 2024 to maintain his belts, and set up this month's blockbuster clash with challenger Berlanga.
