Whyte believed he was on his way to the top of boxing's heavyweight division and after dropping the veteran Russian twice in the fourth round, it looked like Whyte was about to enjoy a massive win. Things dramatically changed in the fight's next round.

Staying composed despite receiving plenty of punishment, Povetkin found a gap in Whyte's defence and brutally exploited it with a stunning uppercut that ended the fight. If it wasn't the knockout of 2020, it was certainly the biggest shock. Whyte's dreams of being the world's best heavyweight were emphatically put on hold. Can he put things right when he takes on Povetkin again?
