Frank Warren names the fighter who will fight for a world title in football stadium this summer

The Southampton star will feature on the undercard to the eagerly anticipated main event, and if successful, his attention will turn to the fascinating clash that has the boxing public split. 

Garner has been built impressively by Frank Warren, and his last two fights have taken place in Bournemouth with the fighter quickly developing a big following on England’s south coast. 

Last time out, Garner recorded the biggest win of his career so far when he outclassed the vastly experienced Reece Bellotti as he added more titles to his growing honours list with a last round stoppage over the Watford man.  

With British and European honours secure, Garner is at a point in his career where the next step towards world title glory is fast approaching and Warren has confirmed to DAZN News that Garner will indeed fight for a world title later this year. 

Whether that comes against Dickens or Cacace is still not finalised, but Warren is eager to bring a huge night to St Mary’s Stadium. 

“He’s done well for himself,” said Warren when reflecting on Garner’s professional journey so far with DAZN News . 

“We’ve built on the south coast a good situation and he will fight at Southampton’s football ground in a world title fight. We will do that in the summer because that’s what we’re building. We build and build and build. 

“Jazza and Anto is a cracker of a fight. It’s an interesting fight and I’m really looking forward to it. We will see what happens after it, but we're always looking to make the next big fight.”
