Hrgovic reveals key area to improve for Itauma after world title triumph

Hrgovic stunned The O2 Arena in London, stopping Moses in the ninth despite the 21-year-old being dominant for the majority of the contest. 

While Moses was landing plenty of shots to the head and body, Hrgovic refused to budge, and bided his time before exploiting an exhausted Moses to become Croatia's first ever world heavyweight champion.

Throughout the build-up, Hrgovic often pointed out Moses' lack of experience, referring to him as a 'kid' and claiming he had everything handed to him on a plate. 

In the end, it would be Hrgovic who would have the last laugh, and after sharing the ring with Moses, he was glowing with praise for his British counterpart. 

"The kid is great, he’s amazing," Hrgovic told DAZN News before delivering where Moses needs to improve when he makes his return. 

"He’s so fast, he’s so good, but he needs to learn more about the professional game.

"The kid has got a lot of talent, he cannot let this ruin his confidence and ruin his career."

Moses is set for a prolonged period away from the ring after he was stretchered out of The O2 after seeing medical staff in his own corner. 

Shortly after the fight ended, promoter Frank Warren told DAZN that Moses had suffered a leg injury which will have played a part in the drop off in intensity from the British fighter during the second half of the contest.
