Jorge Linares makes Gervonta Davis a decent favourite in a fight against Vasiliy Lomachenko.
The Venezuelan fighter knows Lomachenko well after dropping him back in 2018 before being stopped in the tenth round.
Since that fight, both fighters' careers have gone in opposite directions with Lomachenko a current world champion whilst Linares is enduring a four-fight winless streak.
Linares has a lot of admiration for Lomachenko, but he can’t look past a Davis stoppage if the lightweight rivals were to ever meet.
“Lomachenko is a great fighter, amazing guy, amazing boxer. I fought with him, but it’s different. It’s a different time,” said Linares when speaking to YSM Sports Media .
“Maybe four years ago, it would be 50/50. Now I believe Gervonta. We will see in that moment, maybe TKO, maybe some crazy KO.”
