Ryan Garcia falls short against Floyd Mayweather protege in one of the biggest American fights of the modern era

Garcia finally became world champion earlier this year when defeating Mario Barrios, but there were concerns he may never fulfil his potential after falling short in previous high-profile battles. 

In 2023, Garcia faced Gervonta Davis in one of the biggest fights of the year, and he came up short after being stopped in round seven of a memorable fight.
