Frank Sanchez will be an interested observer when Moses Itauma and Filip Hrgovic collide for the IBF heavyweight title on Saturday night.
Back in May, Sanchez produced the performance of his career as he landed a superb shot to stop the much-fancied Richard Torrez in two rounds meaning that he would become the official challenger for the IBF belt that was held by Oleksandr Usyk .
When Itauma and Hrgovic agreed to their fight, the situation with the IBF was not clear as Usyk had vacated his titles after beating Rico Verhoeven on the same bill Sanchez halted Torrez, but it was expected Sanchez would be first in line.
Instead, the talented Cuban has agreed to step aside and let the belt be contested this weekend and he will receive the first shot at whoever comes out on top this weekend.

Moses vs. Hrgovic could be the fight that brings in a new era for heavyweight boxing with numerous top names seemingly approaching the exit door.
If Moses is to win, it could be that boxing has a new superstar to get invested in, and it will mean his first defence will likely come early next year against Sanchez.
It’s unclear whether Sanchez will be in attendance at London’s O2 Arena to witness the fight, but he has provided his thoughts on how things may play out between his heavyweight rivals.
"Itauma is really good. He's very fast; he's very quick. Hrgovic also has many great attributes and a lot of experience. He punches hard,” said Sanchez when speaking to The Ring.
“If Hrgovic wins, he needs to catch him and knock him out. Itauma has a very good skill set, and the main differentiator is his speed. I think speed can win fights, and I give Itauma a slight advantage because of it."
