Jarrell 'Big Baby' Miller vs. Kingsley Ibeh: Who has the edge heading into their fight?
Watch Miller vs Ibeh on DAZN PPV - Saturday

Jarrell ‘Big Baby’ Miller infamously shoved Anthony Joshua across the press conference stage during the buildup to an intended June 1, 2019 fight at Madison Square Garden. However, the bout never happened as Miller subsequently failed a drug test.

Miller fought five times since that point but never got to return to MSG to compete until now. At Ring VI on Saturday night, live on DAZN PPV, Miller will go up against Kingsley Ibeh in a heavyweight tilt set for 10 rounds.

Miller (26-1-2, 22 KOs) has not fought since battling Andy Ruiz Jr. to a majority draw in August 2024. Prior to that, he suffered his first professional loss at the hands of Daniel Dubois via 10th-round TKO in December 2023. Meanwhile, Ibeh (16-2-1, 14 KOs) fought twice in 2025, having last stopped Gerald Washington via third-round TKO in September. He has won 11 consecutive fights.

Will Miller, a native New Yorker from Brooklyn, have his rejoiceful MSG moment? Or will Ibeh steal the spotlight for himself with a big win? DAZN News analyzes who has the edge between the hulking heavyweights entering their fight this weekend.

Boxing Styles

Jarrell ‘Big Baby’ Miller tipped the scale at 317.6 pounds during Friday’s weigh-in and the veteran heavyweight is likely to use every bit of that mass to walk Kingsley Ibeh down Saturday night.

For a man his size, Miller pieces together combinations with nimble hand speed, especially his right uppercut-left hook. That said, as his bouts head into deep waters and conditioning plays a factor, Miller is liable to become a stationary target — something that Ibeh should look to exploit.

Ibeh pressures forward too and is at his best when letting his hands go fully. However, moving ‘Big Baby’ off his block will be a tough task. Plus, Miller has more skill than he is credited for, giving him a slight nudge in this clash of heavyweight styles.

Edge: Miller

Power

Miller has recorded 22 of his 26 victories by the way of knockout, showing how potent his punching power is. The same can be said for Ibeh who has garnered 14 of his 16 wins by stoppage.

The difference here is Miller has more zip to his punches, tilting the power needle slightly in his favor.

Edge: Miller

Mental Warfare

In Miller’s last two fights, he was stopped by Daniel Dubois for his only pro loss and then fought Andy Ruiz to a majority draw. Following those bouts being roughly eight months apart, spanning from late 2023 to 2024, Miller didn’t make a ring appearance in 2025 and returns to action Saturday after a 17-month layoff.

That is a whole lot to overcome as Miller must get over the mental hurdle of not getting into the win column his last two fights and the possible ring rust since.

Meanwhile, Ibeh has been very active, having dismantled Scott Alexander and Gerald Washington by knockout in two wins last year.

Though Miller is battle-tested with rich experience, Ibeh can fight this bout with less on his mind.

Edge: Ibeh

Who has the edge in Miller vs. Ibeh?

Miller has been installed as the betting favorite by oddsmakers and DAZN News has him with a 2-1 edge entering Ring VI in his Madison Square Garden debut. But coming off a lengthy layoff, the pressure is on ‘Big Baby’ to not just win, but make a statement.

Introducing DAZN Ultimate Tier

Get Ring 6 PPV included with DAZN Ultimate Tier for major savings

DAZN's Ultimate Tier subscription package includes a minimum of 12 PPVs a year, on top of the regular 185 fight nights offering.

Therefore, signing up to DAZN Ultimate Tier would include Ring 6: Teofimo Lopez vs. Shakur Stevenson PPV, and the Mario Barrios vs. Ryan Garcia PPV on February 21. This means you would not need to purchase these PPVs individually at an extra cost.

Better still, more DAZN PPV events are expected to be revealed soon, which would also be included in the DAZN Ultimate Tier.

US customers can sign up for Ultimate Tier now for $44.99 per month. UK customers can subscribe for £24.99 per month.

Based on buying 12 PPVs per year, having an Ultimate Tier subscription instead can save $535 / £320 a year alone**.

**Savings calculated by comparing 12 months of DAZN Monthly Flex plus 12 pay-per-view events per year against 12 months of DAZN Ultimate at launch price.
