A world title shot is top of Jermaine Franklin’s shopping list if he beats Moses Itauma in Manchester tonight.
The American takes on the red-hot 21-year-old at the Co-op Live, live on DAZN, and Franklin has no doubt that it will be his hand which is raised this evening.
If victorious, Franklin has his sights on one thing and that is a crack at someone with a belt around their waste.
“When I win, I am trying to get a world championship,” Franklin told DAZN News.
“I want to go after one of those belts. Anybody – [Oleksandr] Usyk, Daniel [Dubois] or Fabio [Wardley]. Whoever holds a belt."

Despite the sizable task at hand, Franklin isn’t lacking in confidence and he doesn’t see anything other than a victory for himself.
However, when asked about how he sees himself winning, he wouldn’t be drawn on how and instead just insisted that he will be victorious by whatever means necessary.
He concluded: “Any way. I try not to focus too much on how I’m going to get it done, just get it done – that’s the main thing,”
