Darts star Luke Littler wants to fight, but one thing is stopping him

Littler was ringside in Liverpool, watching his friend and middleweight prospect Luke Turner beat Jensen Irving on the undercard of Nick Ball vs. Brandon Figueroa. 

Littler would 'love' to feature in boxing match

Following Turner's fourth round stoppage win over Irving, Littler spoke to Queensberry's Dev Sahni who asked whether the 'Nuke' fancies lacing up the gloves. 

"I’d love to, but the missus does not want me to," Littler said before citing KSI's Misfits as a possible promotion to stage the fight. 

"I’d love to, a one-off definitely, on Misfits."

Littler was then asked who he would face in the ring, and he kept his options open with a simple one word response. 

"Anyone," Littler said with a sly smile across his face. 

Sports stars are no stranger to featuring on Misfits Boxing card with former Premier League defender Danny Simpson featuring on a Misfits event in 2024. 

While Littler is enthusiastic about a possible boxing bout, finding the time will be difficult. 

He is PDC's number one ranked player, and Littler's schedule in the world of darts is relentless with weekly Premier League nights combined with the start of the European Tour. 

Unfortunately for Littler, his Premier League Darts campaign got off to the worst possible start after being knocked out in the quarter-finals of the opening night in Newcastle.
