Moses Itauma is expected to make easy work of Filip Hrgovic on Saturday night.Â
That's the view of his manager Francis Warren who believes his man is not just a good fighter, but a great fighter.Â
Moses and Hrgovic meet for the vacant IBF world heavyweight title live on DAZN PPV and Ultimate Tier, and many are backing the 21-year-old to topple the experienced Croatian, and become the youngest heavyweight champion since Mike Tyson.Â
Speaking to BoxNation, Warren explained the difference between a good fighter and a great fighter, and why Moses falls into the latter category.Â
"The difference between a good fighter and a great fighter is that a good fighter can practice and practice and practice and practice, and then plan A, B and C goes out the window then they are stuck," Warren said.Â
"They just have to slog their way through it.
"A great fighter can execute a gameplan under extreme pressure under the lights, in front of thousands of people, millions of people on TV.
"Moses has got that ability to retain information that’s been drilled into him by his coaching team and execute it under pressure."
Â
Boasting a 14-0 record with 12 wins coming by way of knockout, Moses has gained a reputation for being a heavyweight knockout artist and is being backed to the next face of boxing.Â
Hrgovic will be Moses' toughest test to date with the Croatian enjoying an impressive amateur career and becoming a respected operator in the professional ranks.Â
However, Warren claimed that Hrgovic would need to produce a special performance against an opponent in Moses who is superior in every possible way.Â
"There will not be a stone left unturned. Filip Hrgovic will have to be like Popeye on Saturday and find something extra special to beat Moses," Warren continued.Â
"I just think Moses is a better fighter, he’s more athletic, he’s more powerful, he’s faster, he’s younger, he’s more hungry, so all the stuff about experience goes out of the window. He’s just a better boxer."
