Moses Itauma is keen for a rematch with Filip Hrgovic, but Frank Warren believes his star must take time before his return.
The Briton missed out on the IBF heavyweight title after a dramatic ninth-round collapse against the Croatian on Saturday.
Speaking on social media a day later, Moses has already pledged to learn from his mistakes and deliver a swift comeback.
But speaking to talkSPORT, Queensberry Promotions boss Warren says the 21-year-old needs to look away from the sport.

"Provided he learns the lessons from the fight, I think he can go on and do great things," the veteran said on the star's future.
"He's saying to me [if we can] get the rematch on, which is a natural reaction. I told him [he has] to switch off from boxing.
"Go and chill out, spend some time with your family. Come back, recharge your batteries, and then we [will] get to work again."
Warren acknowledges that he wants to see Moses in "maybe two fights" before pushing his star back into another title clash.
"We've got to sit down with the whole team and discuss this," he added on future plans. "All of us will get together to look at it.”

The dust has just about settled on Moses Itauma's loss to Filip Hrgovic, but the star is determined to not rest on his regrets.
For Frank Warren though, an immediate return to the ring is not something on his mind - and nor is another top-line opponent.
Moses is talented, no question about it. But his team may be wondering if Saturday's IBF title bout came too soon for him.
It seems reasonable to expect there will be a few lower-wattage fish for the star to wrap his gloves around in the future.
Then, perhaps with a few more rounds banked, the Briton may be ready to shoot for the stars and the summit once again.
