Moses Itauma will seek to cement his place amid the leading heavyweight contenders when he faces Filip Hrgovic in London on August 29.
The Briton will headline at London's The O2 Arena against the durable Croatian veteran, live on DAZN Pay-Per-View and DAZN Ultimate.
Itauma, who scored his biggest scalp to date with a five-round triumph against Jermaine Franklin in March, has been seeking tougher foes.
In Hrgovic, his backers will hope they have found a suitable test, with Queensberry Promotions boss Frank Warren delighted to close a deal.
"This has got all the makings of a classic heavyweight confrontation and we were determined to get it over the line,” he said in a statement
"This fight is the litmus test Moses is ready for and it is the one he wanted. Filip believes it will be too much too soon for the young star."
Hrgovic has become a familiar fixture on the British heavyweight scene, with his last five bouts against rivals hailing from the United Kingdom.
He most recently defeated Dave Allen in the latter's homecoming bout this past May, securing a brisk three-round victory to set up Itauma.
The latter has made no secret of his desire to challenge for a major strap as soon as possible, floating late 2026 as a potential title window.
Victory over Hrgovic would effectively rubber-stamp his leading credentials, and could prove to be the ticket he wants towards the summit.
