Noakes dismantles Berinchyk to reaffirm status
Sam Noakes reaffirmed his position as a top-drawer lightweight contender after comfortably dismantling ex-WBO champion Denys Berinchyk.
The Briton has kept a low profile since he lost a unanimous decision - albeit closer than anticipated - against Abdullah Mason back in November.
But 'Midge' put himself firmly back into title conversation in Saturday's co-main event with a wide 100-90, 99-91 and 98-92 unanimous decision.
It marked a sobering return for onetime holder Berinchyk, who ended a year-and-a-half-long layoff since a February 2025 loss to Keyshawn Davis.
The Ukrainian struggled to find traction from the early stages, with his accuracy wayward and his body frequently forced to the edges of the ring.
Noakes will now hope to secure a second shot at a world title, with a rematch against Mason one potential option as powerbrokers plot his path.
Hysa backs credentials with two-round Narmo win
Nelson Hysa underlined his own push for heavyweight title contention after stopping fellow unbeaten contender Thomas Narmo inside two rounds.

'The Albanian Eagle' floored 'The Last Viking' early in the second round with a monster right, leaving his opponent sprawled dazedly on the canvas.
Though he beat the count, referee Howard Foster waved matters off, with Narmo needing medical attention and to be helped from the ring afterwards.
It marked a first professional defeat for Narmo, who had hoped to inflict a similar result upon his opponent, only to struggle before his eventual defeat.
It marked another swift night for Hysa, with his latest technical knockout triumph likely to increase the clamour for a crack at the division's biggest fish.
Ranked by both the WBA and the WBO, his backers may make a credible claim for the star to move towards a shot at Murat Gassiev in the future.
Ursu retains Lonsdale Belt against brave Vaughan
Constantin Ursu retained his British and Commonwealth welterweight titles in fine fashion, as Ben Vaughan fell short in an eighth-round TKO loss.
The Moldova-born star made a successful defence after referee Michael Alexander waved the contest off following a nasty cut to his opponent.

Having trailed in the early rounds, Vaughan's determination to make matters into a firefight saw him counter smartly before a blow above the right eye.
Despite the attempts of his corner, his injury only worsened, with officials pulling him over twice for inspection throughout as Ursu continued to build.
Ultimately, it proved a bridge too far for 'The Bomber', though the star's gallantry will likely ensure he earns another major encounter soon enough.
As for Ursu, victory could prove his ticket towards world-level opportunities, as his team look to push past domestic matters heading into next year.
Vianello and Jolly play out entertaining draw
Gatekeeper Guido Vianello narrowly dodged a major upset against Moses Jolly as the pair played out an entertaining 76-76 heavyweight draw.
The Italian, tipped by some to be in the frame for a possible world title shot in 2027, started brightly in a contest against the unbeaten Welshman.
But a pivotal shift in the fourth round, where Jolly pinned him in the corner with a slew of crackerjack combinations, helped swing momentum away.

Vianello was checked by medics on the advice of referee Amy Pu twice for an ear injury, before the start of both the fifth and seventh rounds.
Those vital few seconds may have helped the Rio 2016 star stave off his exhaustion to scramble back into a bruising contest with both flagging.
Ultimately, the spoils were shared - but as Jolly uncorked some joyous dance moves in the aftermath, it felt more like his foe made the great escape.
