'Recharging' Usyk unhurried on future farewell decision

Oleksandr Usyk is "recharging" with his family ahead of his final bout, with the Ukrainian seemingly unhurried on his future.
The three-time undisputed superstar confirmed he would vacate his unified heavyweight titles last Friday in a major move.
In surrendering his WBA, WBC and IBF straps, Usyk further confirmed that he would fight just once more before reitrement.
Since then, rumours have abounded over options, ranging from a Rico Verhoeven rematch to a clash with Deontay Wilder.

But Usyk has given no hint as to next steps, writing on X: "Sometimes the best plan is simply to be with the people you love.
"I'm spending time with my family and loved ones, recharging, and thanking God for each day."
Other options floated for Usyk have included another crossover opponent in decorated mixed-martial arts veteran Jon Jones.
One opponent who will not be in the ring however is Tyson Fury, with the star's manager Sergey Lapin ruling out a trilogy fight.

News had rumbled last month that Oleksandr Usyk was leaning towards a major announcement. Now, the world is waiting again.
Sure, the Ukrainian has confirmed plenty of details - one more bout, no belts on the line - but there's still plenty that's up in the air.
Usyk's decision to kick all three belts, and not just the WBC strap he faced mandatory orders on, suggests it is no prime contender.
In many regards, a rematch with Rico Verhoeven makes commercial sense - but the boxing completionists would love Deontay Wilder.
Perhaps it will be Jon Jones, or maybe there is an even greater curveball to come. Whatever the choice, Usyk won't leave it dangling.
