Oleksandr Usyk defeated Rico Verhoeven to retain his undefeated status on Saturday, but not without a major scare in Egypt.
The unified heavyweight champion was pushed almost all the way at the Giza necropolis before securing a controversial stoppage.
Kickboxing crossover star Verhoeven, in just his second pro bout, proved a difficult opponent across nearly a dozen late-night rounds.
But Usyk ultimately prevailed after dropping his opponent to the canvas, before the referee stepped in to wave off the contest.
