But that is just one of the All-American fights that would sizzle in 2026.

Here, DAZN News lists five of the biggest stateside fights that could dazzle boxing fans in the New Year.

Vergil Ortiz Jr. vs. Jaron 'Boots' Ennis

Vergil Ortiz and Jaron ‘Boots’ Ennis have taken turns this week blaming each other for why their mega fight hasn’t been signed yet.

“I’ve already said yes, that’s all I can do,” Ortiz said on Inside The Ring on Wednesday. “The barrier is somewhere on their side, whether it’s someone or something, or some amount of money, I don’t know. That’s completely on them.”

Prior to that, Ennis’ promoter Eddie Hearn told The Ring: “We all agreed on the fight — DAZN, Golden Boy, Matchroom. We negotiated the fight. We agreed on the terms. We went away, we signed Jaron [to a Matchroom contract extension], we got Jaron to sign on those terms. Now, Vergil hasn’t signed.”

If Ortiz is successful against Erickson Lubin this weekend, hopefully Golden Boy and Matchroom can iron out the details to force Ortiz-Ennis into fruition.

Two undefeated fighters with sweet science skill and knockout power entering their prime and vying for supremacy at super welterweight, Ortiz vs. ‘Boots’ would easily be one of the biggest all-American bouts in the division and boxing overall, period.

And if Lubin manufactures a way to defeat Ortiz tonight, then Lubin and Ennis should have their moment in 2026.

Teofimo Lopez vs. Shakur Stevenson

It has not been officially announced but Shakur Stevenson and Teofimo Lopez have been talking about fighting for months.

Way back in April, Lopez told DAZN News he had gathered the intel necessary to produce an “easy win” over Stevenson.

Whether that pans out to be true or not, what is a fact is this bout would have Stevenson, in all his sweet science brilliance, challenging for boxer-puncher Lopez’ WBO super lightweight world title in what would be a must-see matchup that could lead the year off for the biggest all-American fights that boxing has to offer stateside.

Gervonta 'Tank' Davis vs. Lamont Roach II

Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis has had a forgettable year professionally and personally.

After fighting Lamont Roach Jr. to a controversial majority draw in March, Davis' planned rematch with Roach for August fell through and then his slated November fight against Jake Paul was scrapped as well amidst charges filed against ‘Tank.’

If Davis could figure things out, perhaps his best bet would be to run it back with Roach.

Their fight in March left fight fans with a sour taste of unfinished business in a bout that many felt Roach did enough to win.

A rematch would settle this rivalry, though it is contingent on Davis righting his course outside of the ring before getting back in it.

Devin Haney vs. Ryan Garcia II

Last week, while appearing on Uncrowned’s “The Ariel Helwani Show,” Devin Haney disclosed that he dropped his lawsuit against Ryan Garcia.

"That wasn't something [I wanted]. I'm a fighter — I want to get it back in the ring. I want to get it back in blood, and that was my mindset from the start to the end. I've always wanted to do a rematch.”

Their April 2024 fight had Garcia battering Haney with three knockdowns toward a rousing majority decision win which was later changed to a no-contest after Garcia failed a drug test. Then, came the lawsuit.

But just as there’s unfinished business between Gervonta Davis and Lamont Roach, there is an unsettling feeling hovering like a dark cloud over Haney and Garcia.

‘The Dream’ maintains he was cheated by Garcia, while ‘King Ry’ believes he and his left hook simply have Haney’s number.

There is only one way to settle this feud and that is a rematch which would easily be a huge draw stateside and around the boxing world — and that is regardless of how Haney fares against WBO welterweight world champion Brian Norman Jr. on November 22, live on DAZN pay-per-view.

Richardson Hitchins vs. Gary Antuanne Russell

Richardson Hitchins lobbied for fights with Teofimo Lopez and Devin Haney to no avail.

But the IBF super lightweight world champion can look to unify in a bout with WBA titleholder Gary Antuanne Russell.

The fight would pit the disciplined boxing of Hitchins against the high-volume, rapid hand speed of Antuanne Russell.
