A Manchester homecoming to an overseas debut: Where could Pat Brown fight next?

'The Bomber' was on top form at Belfast's Windsor Park earlier this month as he stopped Austine Nnamdi inside two rounds to maintain a flawless pro record thus far.

Speaking to DAZN News, Brown outlined plans to fight at least once more in 2025, taking his year-long tally of fights to five, as he pushes on towards the upper ranks.

But as promoters Matchroom Boxing continue to build his profile, just where could he pitch up next for a showdown in the ring? DAZN News profiles the likely options.

A Manchester homecoming

With jus a handful of shows left this year for the promotion, there won't be too many opportunities to put Brown onto an undercard and keep building his reputation.

So why not reward him with a return to his home turf in Manchester and the chance to show his stuff in front of his vocal fanbase once more before 2025 is seen out?

Brown has fought twice in the Greater Manchester region this year, against Federico Javier Grandone on debut in March and then versus Lewis Oakford in July.

A low-key bill-topper spot at a smaller venue - he has already been to Planet Ice Altrincham - may not be the most glamourous, but it continues to build his home base.

A supercard opportunity

Windsor Park marked the first time Brown has enjoyed the taste of a stadium fight, and the star may be hungry for more after dispatching his foe with impressive guile.

There are limited options remaining this year, but the looming spectre of the Chris Eubank Jr.-Conor Benn II rematch at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is a clear option.

Besides headliner Benn, Matchroom are likely to want several prize fighters on The Ring's latest card, and with his flying displays thus far, Brown fits the bill to a tee.

It could come too soon for him to figure highly in plans however, with plenty of other fighters - particularly those moving for belts or shots at them - will be in the mix too.

An overseas debut

For the first time since he was in Paris, Brown got on a plane and headed out of Great Britain for his test in Belfast - so is now the time to take him a little further afield?

Lenier Pero and Jordan Thompson meet in Florida at the start of November for Matchroom, offering a potential pathway to a debut in the United States for the cruiserweight.

Then there's trips to Riyadh for two The Ring cards - IV in November, when David Benavidez and Anthony Yarde square off, and V in December, topped by Naoya Inoue.

Of course, both of those are already very busy affairs with thematic shape and purpose that Brown may not meet - but should a gap open up, Matchroom might push hard.
