Bevan eyes longer contests to hone further talents on return

Taylor Bevan hopes to discover new things in longer contests as he returns to the ring against Ryszard Lewicki this weekend.
The rising Welshman will contest an eight-round super-middleweight contest at St. Mary's Stadium in Southampton on Saturday.
Unbeaten across eight pro fights so far, Bevan has earned a reputation for impressive stoppages over his nascent career thus far.
But ahead of his next challenge, the star admits that he hopes to go deeper in order to further hone his craft on his next outing.

"You've got to learn, and there's experience to be gained in those longer rounds," he told The Ring. "It's more than just winning.
"You can't give a hundred percent every round. It's setting traps, seeing the bigger picture rather than trying to win every exchange.
"I feel like I've come on loads already, and it's only the start. I think we'll see an improved version of Taylor Bevan in my next fight."
Victory for Bevan will further increase the clamour for him to face sturdier opposition, amid a crowded domestic slate of contenders.
