Canelo Alvarez enhanced his impressive credentials even further on Saturday night when he dominated Jermell Charlo for a wide points win.
Canelo had been expected to win the undisputed battle at 168lbs but even he might've been a little surprised with how easy the contest was as he controlled matters from the outset.
The win improves Canelo’s record to 60-2-2 with his only losses coming against the outstanding pair of Floyd Mayweather and Dmitry Bivol.
Thanks to his extensive list of honours, Canelo’s name is right placed amongst previous Mexican greats but is the best fighter o have emerged from his home country? Teddy Atlas has had has his say.
