Australian heavyweight Teremoana confident he can beat Moses

Moses is the name on everyone's lips in the boxing world after it was confirmed his upcoming fight with Filip Hrgovic later this month will be for the vacant IBF heavyweight title. 

If Moses is able to beat Hrgovic, exclusively live on DAZN PPV and Ultimate Tier, he will not only be the youngest world heavyweight champion since Mike Tyson, but he will then have a massive target on his back. 

Teremoana confident he can beat Moses 

Someone who has the 21-year-old in his sights is the undefeated Teremoana, who so far has won all 11 of his professional bouts by knockout.

On Wednesday, he will headline a fight card for the first time when he takes on DeAndre Savage, live worldwide on DAZN, and if Teremoana delivers another knockout performance, it will be a breakthrough moment for the 28-year-old.

Assessing Moses' career so far, Teremoana praised the British star. 

"I didn't know too much about him until he came into the pros, but I think he was a youth world champion at one point in time. So he's a very good amateur," Teremoaona told DAZN News in an exclusive interview

"I've also heard on the amateur scene that he's very good. From what I've seen, yeah, he is very good. He's got a bit of power. He's got a bit of skill and knows how to box."

Then came a change in tone from the Australian, who explained why he believes he can beat Moses. 

"But when I think of him, he's too small. He won't be able to match me. My attributes are better.

"I'm a real heavyweight, 120 kilos. I walk around trying to lose weight basically. And that's what I think.

"He's a good fighter. There's a lot of good fighters in this world. But eventually when we come to the point where we clash, I believe I'm going to get the job done."

When it comes to the Tale of the Tape, Teremoana does hold the height advantage at 6' 6" compared to Moses, who comes in at 6' 4.5". 

However, Moses has faced the more difficult opposition, his latest foe being the durable American Jermaine Franklin. Meanwhile, Teremoana is yet to face anyone of real significance in the heavyweight division. 

If Teremoana does manage to get past Savage, it will likely mark the start of his road towards a world title shot, and if it comes against Moses, the Australian will then have the chance to back up his words inside the ring.
