Saturday's fight against former three-belt welterweight champion Errol Spence Jr. and former super welterweight titlist Tim Tszyu takes place at Afterpay Arena in Sydney, Australia, the latter's home country, live on DAZN PPV.
Spence (28-1, 22 KOs) comes back from a three-year layoff while Tszyu (27-3, 18 KOs) competes in his most significant fight, and it's on his own home turf. That's not lost on Tszyu, who understands what this moment means not just for him but for his entire country.
“This doesn’t feel like a normal fight," Tszyu said at Thursday's press conference. "This is a Super Bowl fight for me. I hope he’s feeling the same thing, because when we collide, it’s gonna be a great fight for the fans."
The styles both guys possess should make for an entertaining fight. Tszyu feels something special is brewing and people will witness a battle that could be talked about for ages.
“We’ve got two stars that have attributes that should make this an incredible fight," Tszyu said. "I’m coming to make a fight that people will be talking about for years and years to come.”
