Tim Tszyu secured the biggest win of his career on Saturday night when he dominated the second half of the fight to defeat former three-belt welterweight champion Errol Spence Jr. by unanimous decision, live on DAZN PPV.
After the fight, Tszyu (28-3, 18 KOs) made it clear that he'd be staying at 160 pounds instead of dropping back down to super welterweight, where he was a champion. What is next for Tszyu?

Erislandy Lara
If Tszyu is sincere about remaining at middleweight, Lara is the obvious choice. Tszyu name-dropped Lara in his post-fight interview as a potential foe. And it makes all the sense in the world. The 43-year-old is the oldest world champion in boxing and is the most vulnerable one to boot because of his age. His fighting style is comparable to Tszyu's, but not because of willingness but because of his age, with an 11-year age gap between Tszyu and Lara.
Tszyu is younger, quicker, and stronger than Lara. It's a weak middleweight division, and the fight would be easier to make with both under the PBC banner.
Vergil Ortiz Jr.
Yes, we know what we just wrote. But people are allowed to change their minds. Tszyu is entitled to switch his stance as well. Stylistically, Ortiz (24-0, 22 KOs) makes all the sense in the world with their respective styles being the same, which makes for an entertaining affair.
Ortiz is a big name, which Tszyu prefers, and is currently without a dance partner, as it's uncertain what Jaron 'Boots' Ennis' next move will be, and WBC super middleweight champion Sebastian Fundora has a mandatory title defense which he intends to fulfill, and IBF title holder Josh Kelly just fought on Saturday.
The 28-year-old Ortiz has said he wants big fights for his in-ring return. There aren't many more significant at 154 or 160 than Tszyu.
Jesus Ramos
Ramos is itching to get back into the ring after not competing since a unanimous decision win in December over Shane Mosely Jr. Ramos, 24-1 (19 KOs) is likely to defend the interim WBC middleweight belt in his next fight against top-ranked contender Meiirim Nursultanov in September. But if things fall through, Tszyu could be waiting in the wings if Ramos is willing to wait until around November time.
