Team Vitality will be one of the biggest teams to watch as the playoffs begin.
The French organisation has the advantage of competing on home soil and will be looking to go one better after losing 2-1 to The MongolZ at EWC 25.
Vitality began this year's competition with a dominant victory over 100 Thieves but suffered a surprise defeat against Ukrainian side B8, dropping them into the Lower Bracket.
Superstar Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut helped them respond against Lynn Vision Gaming, with Vitality sweeping the series to secure their playoff place.
The MongolZ, meanwhile, are attempting to defend the title they won in historic fashion at EWC 25.
Their victory made them the first Asian team to win an S-tier Counter-Strike 2 tournament, and they have since reached No. 1 in both the HLTV World Rankings and Valve Regional Standings.
The defending champions defeated M80 before losing to Natus Vincere, but recovered with a 2-0 victory over paiN Gaming to reach the playoffs.
There is no shortage of challengers. Team Falcons, Team Spirit, FURIA and NAVI are also among the leading contenders, leaving little margin for error once the single-elimination bracket begins.
