Team Falcons sweep Spacestation Gaming to win Esports World Cup 2026 Rocket League title

The Saudi club completed an outstanding tournament with a 4-0 victory over SSG, securing the $400,000 first prize and 1,000 Club Championship points.

Yazid "Kiileerrz" Bakhashwin, Saleh "Rw9" Bakhashwin and Samy "dralii" Hajji proved unstoppable throughout the competition, going undefeated in the Group Stage before beating Twisted Minds, defending champions Karmine Corp and Spacestation Gaming on their way to the trophy.

The victory also sent Team Falcons back to the top of the Esports World Cup Club Championship standings heading into the final week of competition.

Team Falcons sweep Spacestation Gaming in EWC Grand Final

Spacestation Gaming entered the Grand Final looking to complete another upset, but Falcons quickly took control of the series.

The opening game was the closest of the final.

SSG scored a late equaliser to force overtime, only for Falcons to find the decisive goal and take a 1-0 series lead.

Falcons struck first again in Game 2 before Spacestation levelled with around a minute remaining.

The response was immediate.

Two quick Falcons goals turned a potentially tight finish into a 3-1 victory and doubled their advantage in the series.

Game 3 proved more comfortable, with Falcons controlling proceedings on their way to a 4-1 victory and match point.

Spacestation applied significant pressure at the beginning of Game 4 as they attempted to keep their championship hopes alive.

Falcons' defence survived the early pressure before the Saudi club took control and scored three quick goals.

There was no way back for SSG as Falcons completed the 4-0 sweep and secured the Esports World Cup title.

Falcons knock out defending champions Karmine Corp

Falcons' dominant Grand Final performance followed an impressive route through the tournament.

They progressed undefeated from the Group Stage after victories over R8 Esports and Gentle Mates.

Falcons then faced Saudi rivals Twisted Minds in the quarter-finals, securing a 4-2 victory to set up a huge meeting with defending champions Karmine Corp.

The semi-final had the potential to be one of the matches of the tournament.

Instead, Falcons produced another statement.

They swept Karmine Corp 4-0 in front of the French crowd, ending KC's hopes of becoming the first team to win consecutive EWC Rocket League titles.

It meant Falcons swept both the defending champions and eventual runners-up without dropping a single game across the semi-final and Grand Final.

Dralii makes Esports World Cup history

The victory completed a remarkable personal three-peat for dralii.

The Moroccan has now won the Esports World Cup Rocket League title in three consecutive years — with three different teams.

Dralii won with Team BDS in 2024 before joining Karmine Corp and helping the French organisation take the title in 2025.

His move to Team Falcons ahead of the 2026 competition then placed him directly against his former teammates.

Falcons' 4-0 semi-final victory over Karmine Corp ended their title defence before dralii completed his third consecutive championship with another sweep in the final.

That gives him EWC titles with Team BDS, Karmine Corp and Team Falcons.
