The Serie A season is winding down to an end with Inter celebrating a dominant victory with their 21st Scudetto title win, and now it's time to hand out some end-of-year awards.Â
There's been plenty of eye-catching performances up and down the league this campaign, but which young ballers have stood out the most in Italy's top flight?Â
DAZN News hands out its first gong to our picks of Serie A's Young Player of the Year. Â
Runners-up
Davide Bartesaghi (Milan)

A breakout campaign for the Milan defender, who, before this season, had only one league start but has become the Rossoneri's first choice down their left flank.Â
Naturally a left-back, the 20-year-old has transitioned into a wing-back under Max Allegri and added a bigger attacking element to his game.Â
Cool and composed, Bartesaghi also netted his first professional goals in 2025-26, scoring twice in Milan's win over Sassuolo to top off a season where he firmly established himself in the team.Â
Francesco Pio Esposito (Inter)
Having spent last season on loan in Serie B with Spiza, Esposito got his chance in the Inter first team in 2025-26 and grabbed it with both hands.Â
The striker was part of a deadly attacking quartet at the top of the Nerazzurri's attack, which fired them all the way to the Scudetto.

Kenan Yildiz (Juventus)Â
The creative spark in the Juventus team, Yildiz, has once again been the Old Lady's go-to guy when it comes to being the team's difference maker.Â
His 10 league goals so far are his best return in the league, while also providing six assists for his teammates.Â
Playing in the pocket just behind the front man, the 21-year-old's intelligent movement between the lines has caused defenders problems up and down the league. GettyImages

Nico Paz (Como)Â

Outside of Inter, no player in the whole of Serie A has been more productive in front of goal than Como's playmaker and easily the league's best young star.Â
Paz's 12 goals and 6 assists have played a crucial part in Como's Champions League charge, and at times, the 21-year-old has looked unplayable.Â
His creativity and game-changing moments have lit up the league, and he'll head to the World Cup this summer as one of the best young players to watch at the tournament.Â
