It's a battle for the top spot in Group B at the World Cup with Switzerland vs. Canada set to take place on Wednesday.
The teams are tied on four points each after their first two games, although the Swiss trail on goal difference. Switzerland's last outing was a 4-1 victory over Bosnia-Herzegovina in which they did all their scoring in the final 20 minutes, and even though they pulled off a three-goal victory, it was not enough to claim first place in the group.

That's because the Canadians put up six goals on Qatar on the same day, winning 6-0 in Vancouver to secure their first-ever FIFA World Cup victory. The lopsided triumph came with a heavy price for Canada, though, as influential midfielder Ismael Koné suffered a broken leg after a sloppy second-half tackle and will miss the remainder of the tournament.

The Swiss employed a 3-4-3 in their opener against Qatar and switched to a 4-3-3 in their win over Bosnia, and with this being their toughest of the three group matches, it's likely that they remain with a four-man back line against the Canadians.
Denis Zakaria and Nico Elvedi each have yellow cards to their names, which could impact their involvement.

Canada
As mentioned, Koné will not be available for the rest of the tournament, which leaves a massive hole in the midfield. Nathan Saliba, who replaced Koné against Qatar and subsequently scored, is the likeliest to start in his absence.
Additionally, Jesse Marsch could elect to put Liam Millar back into the starting XI due to his defensive work rate, with Ali Ahmed coming out of the lineup.
