This summer has seen more seismic spending in the Premier League with plenty of business still to be done before the transfer window closes.
Many of the eye-catching deals have involved players moving between English clubs, with Elliot Anderson, Morgan Rogers and Ezri Konsa among those to do so.
However, there have also been several intriguing arrivals from abroad, with Mamadou Sangare, Amar Dedic and Victor Munoz among those who have made an immediate impact.
But which signings have caught the eye of a former Liverpool star? Here, DAZN News brings you his takes.
With Arsenal favourites to retain their Premier League title, the chasing pack have been busy bolstering their squads to give themselves a fighting chance.
Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester City have all spent north of £100million on individuals, with the Blues and Cityzens taking maximum points from their opening two games.
Former Reds favourite Didi Hamann has weighed in on his signings of the summer and has selected players from the aforementioned trio to star this season.
“Obviously, Bouaddi coming to City — I’m very intrigued and interested to see how he does because I thought he was sensational at the World Cup," Hamann told DAZN News via Betinia NJ.
“Rogers did so well for Villa, so to see him at Chelsea now, at a club that might be able to challenge, will be very interesting.
“Then you’ve got Barcola coming to Liverpool. I think that’s a marquee signing.”

While Rogers has already made his mark for Chelsea, Liverpool and City fans must remain patient before seeing Barcola and Bouaddi in full swing.
Rogers already has a goal and an assist from his first two Premier League appearances against Fulham and Brighton and is part of a menacing attack including Joao Pedro, Cole Palmer and Pedro Neto.
Elsewhere, Brentford's Mamadou Sangare already looks a contender for signing of the summer following his opening-day masterclass against Tottenham, where he delivered an assist and 13 defensive contributions.
Arsenal's Christos Tzolis has also impressed, already looking like an improvement on the Gunners' left wing, while Julio Encisco looks an inspired signing for Ipswich Town.
Given Barcola's quality, he should elevate Liverpool's attack, while teenager Bouaddi must be given time to develop into the player that Rodri was for City.
