Will Ospreay opened the show in Glasgow with an emotional message to Kenny Omega, making clear that their AEW World Championship clash has become deeply personal after the champion brought his family into the rivalry.

Elsewhere, Jon Moxley and Nigel McGuinness booked their places in the Continental Challenge Cup final, Mercedes Moné left Willow Nightingale injured backstage, Chris Jericho and Mark Davis joined the Casino Gauntlet, while Andrade got the better of MJF ahead of their potential meeting in Sunday's high-stakes match.

Will Ospreay sends final message to Kenny Omega

Ospreay opened Dynamite by reflecting on his journey through British wrestling and what it means to challenge for the AEW World Championship at Wembley.

The 33-year-old praised Omega and his achievements, but said his respect for the champion disappeared when Omega brought Ospreay's son into their increasingly personal rivalry.

Ospreay promised he would not lose in front of his family, friends and home crowd on Sunday, declaring that it was finally time to bring it home.

The pair's rivalry was also the focus of Dynamite's closing video package, revisiting their decade-long history and previous meetings before Sunday's world-title showdown.

Jon Moxley and Nigel McGuinness book All In final

Jon Moxley and Nigel McGuinness will meet in the final of the inaugural Continental Challenge Cup at All In.

Moxley defeated fellow Death Rider Claudio Castagnoli in the first semi-final, choking his stablemate unconscious to advance.

McGuinness then overcame an injured ankle and defeated Kyle O'Reilly with the London Dungeon in the second semi-final.

The two will now meet at Wembley, with both the Continental Championship and the first Continental Challenge Cup on the line.

Mercedes Moné attacks Willow Nightingale

AEW Women's World Champion Willow Nightingale was scheduled to address the Glasgow crowd, but never made it to the ring.

Instead, the broadcast cut backstage to show Mercedes Moné standing over an injured Nightingale, who was clutching her left hand.

Moné told Nightingale that this would be her final Dynamite as champion before the pair meet for the title at All In.

Chris Jericho joins the Casino Gauntlet

The field for Sunday's Casino Gauntlet continued to grow as former AEW World Champion Chris Jericho confirmed his participation.

It will be Jericho's first appearance in the Casino Gauntlet, while Don Callis also announced that Mark Davis had drawn a number for the match.

The winner of the match will earn a future opportunity at the AEW World Championship.

Andrade gets the better of MJF

MJF attempted to embarrass Andrade ahead of their participation in the Casino Gauntlet, claiming he had paid people to attack the AEW National Champion before Dynamite.

Andrade had other ideas.

He appeared behind MJF in the crowd before attacking him and sending him retreating up the ramp, gaining the upper hand before the pair potentially cross paths again at Wembley.

Swerve Strickland defeats Jack Perry

Swerve Strickland picked up the victory in Wednesday's main event, defeating Jack Perry with Big Pressure after a competitive encounter.

There was respect between the two afterwards, with Swerve offering Perry a fist bump and Perry accepting.
