Five surprise names we could see at AEW All In 2026

The New Day 

Easily the most anticipated possible debut, and the biggest names currently on the free agent market. 

Kofi Sarkodie-Mensah (Kofi Kingston) and Austin Creed (Xavier Woods) left WWE in May following a contract dispute as one of the most decorated tag team champions in the company's history. 

Now free to work elsewhere, an appearance at Wembley would shake the famous arch to its foundations, especially if it comes at some point during the tag team title match between Cope and Cage and The Young Bucks. 

Their possible arrival would only add even more star power to the division and add another chapter to the tag team's legacy.

Kairi Sane/Kaori Housako

Sane's April release from WWE came as a bit of a shock to fans, with the Japanese star still in the midst of a major TV storyline. 

Nevertheless, that loss could be AEW's gain as they'd be getting one of the smoothest talents in the women's game. 

It's highly expected that Sane will end up back in STARDOM, but a cameo at All In isn't out of the question, especially given AEW's working relationship with STARDOM and the Forbidden Door shows.

Sheamus/Stephen Farrelly

A man who has spent the best part of the last two decades in WWE, where he pretty much achieved almost everything, but is now without a home following his departure over the summer. 

At 48, he doesn't fit the usual profile for an AEW pick-up, but there's no doubt he can still go and still has a huge name value to wrestling fans - even under what would probably be his real name. 

Maybe a debut in the Casino Gauntlet match and then a short stint in the company would be enough for all parties, giving the Celtic Warrior one last moment in the sun. 

Yet, given he's a first-ballot Hall of Famer for WWE, it wouldn't be such a surprise if he's done with wrestling for the moment.

Ilja Dragunov/Rukober

A recent addition to the free agent market after letting his contract in WWE expire just last week, which means he's now free to work elsewhere and is in perfect timing for All In.

The Russian's hard-hitting style fits in perfectly with the AEW ethos and would likely gain more opportunities to showcase his style than he had previously. 

There will be a queue of opponents waiting for the 'Mad Dragon' if he does make the leap to AEW, and he could be an ideal name for one of the surprises in the Casino Gauntlet match.

Malakai Black 

True, Black didn't exactly leave AEW on the best terms after leaving in 2025 and going back to WWE, but in wrestling, never say never.

We've already seen the company bring back Andrade El Idolo with much greater success, and if there's a story to tell, then the Dutchman could very well be welcomed back as well. 

Another one who would be ideal to take a spot in the Casino Gauntlet match; it does feel like he has unfinished business in the company.
