MJF retains AEW Heavyweight Title in bloody death match in the main event of AEW Revolution 2026

Either a new AEW World Heavyweight Champion or one of the company's biggest homegrown stars would no longer compete for the biggest prize in All Elite Wrestling as MJF looked to defend the gold against former titlist "Hangman" Adam Page in the main event of AEW Revolution from a sold-out Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, live on DAZN PPV.
If Page lost the Texas Death Match, he could never compete for the heavyweight title ever again. We saw windows, glass, dog collars, barbed wire, barbed wire chairs, barbed wire chairs and much more from two of pro wrestling's biggest stars. MJF and Page poured buckets of blood throughout the 50-minute-plus grueling battle.
At the end of the day, MJF just had a little bit more as he hung Page over the rope as both were attached to a dog collar to choke him unconscious. Page couldn't make it up by the count of 10 as he was sitting in a pool of glass, and MJF retained the heavyweight title.Â
