Ranking the five greatest AEW All In matches of all time

From the promotion's historic first trip to Wembley Stadium in 2023 to All In Texas two years later, the event has delivered world title changes, brutal stipulation matches and some of the most memorable moments in AEW history.

All In returns to Wembley Stadium on Sunday, August 30, with Kenny Omega and Will Ospreay set to add another chapter to their rivalry in the main event.

But which matches have set the standard so far?

Here are five of the greatest matches in AEW All In history.

5. FTR vs The Young Bucks – All In 2023

AEW's first Wembley show brought one of the biggest tag team rivalries of the era to the biggest stage possible.

FTR entered as AEW World Tag Team champions against The Young Bucks, with the two teams having split their previous two meetings.

That made their Wembley showdown the decider, and the match lived up to its billing in front of a huge London crowd.

Both teams survived some of their opponents' biggest moves before FTR eventually connected with the Shatter Machine to retain the titles and move ahead in the rivalry.

It was tag-team wrestling on the grandest scale and helped set the standard for what All In could become.

4. Kenny Omega vs Kazuchika Okada – All In 2025

Few wrestling rivalries of the modern era carry the history of Kenny Omega and Kazuchika Okada.

Seven years after their last singles meeting, the pair finally renewed hostilities at All In Texas with both the AEW International and Continental championships on the line.

Their previous encounters had become legendary, meaning expectations were enormous when they stepped into an AEW ring for their fifth singles match.

Omega pushed his old rival deep into another gruelling contest, but it was Okada who eventually emerged victorious.

A Rainmaker secured the win and made Okada the inaugural AEW Unified champion, adding another major chapter to one of wrestling's defining rivalries.

3. MJF vs Will Ospreay – All In 2024

If there was one man built for a huge Wembley Stadium moment, it was Will Ospreay.

The Englishman challenged MJF for the AEW International Championship in front of his home crowd after losing the title to the American just weeks earlier.

What followed was one of the most spectacular matches of the night.

MJF repeatedly found ways to survive Ospreay's offence, while Ospreay wrestled with whether to unleash the dangerous Tiger Driver 91.

Eventually, with Daniel Garcia preventing MJF from using the Dynamite Diamond Ring, Ospreay finally hit the Tiger Driver 91 before finishing the champion with the Hidden Blade.

Wembley erupted as Ospreay reclaimed the International Championship on home soil.

2. 'Hangman' Adam Page vs Jon Moxley – All In 2025

All In Texas needed a huge main event, and 'Hangman' Adam Page and Jon Moxley delivered one of the most emotional matches in AEW history.

Page challenged Moxley for the AEW World Championship in a Texas Death Match after months of the Death Riders holding the promotion's top prize.

The stipulation ensured there was little resembling a conventional wrestling match.

Weapons, blood and interference all played their part as Page repeatedly refused to stay down against Moxley and the Death Riders.

Eventually, Hangman survived the chaos and defeated Moxley to become AEW World Champion for the second time.

It was violent, exhausting and cathartic – exactly what the culmination of the story needed to be.

1. Bryan Danielson vs Swerve Strickland – All In 2024

There could only be one winner.

Bryan Danielson arrived at Wembley Stadium knowing defeat would end his full-time wrestling career.

Standing opposite him was Swerve Strickland, the AEW World Champion and a man determined to prove that Danielson's time at the top was over.

The title-versus-career stipulation gave virtually every near fall enormous weight, particularly with Danielson's family watching from ringside.

Swerve threw everything at the challenger, including repeated House Calls and the Big Pressure, but Danielson refused to stay down.

After surviving the champion's best offence, Danielson finally trapped Swerve in the LeBell Lock and forced him to submit.

The victory made Danielson AEW World Champion for the first time and produced one of the defining images in All In history as he celebrated with his family inside Wembley Stadium.

For drama, stakes, atmosphere and the eventual payoff, Danielson vs Swerve remains the match to beat.
