Tony Khan confirms Willow Nightingale has broken hand days before AEW All In

AEW president Tony Khan confirmed the injury during his pre-All In media call on Thursday, revealing that it forced the promotion to make late changes to its plans for this week's Dynamite and Collision.

However, Nightingale remains set to face Mercedes Moné on Sunday as part of a stacked All In card at Wembley.

Nightingale's injury became part of the story on Wednesday's Dynamite, when Moné attacked the champion backstage and targeted her left hand.

It was subsequently reported that Nightingale was dealing with a legitimate injury, with Khan confirming the extent of the issue during Thursday's media call.

Speaking during the call, via PWInsider, Khan said: "Willow's hand is injured, and it was a late change."

Khan confirmed that Nightingale had broken her hand on the day AEW was filming Dynamite and Collision, forcing him to change plans for the champion at short notice.

Despite the injury, Nightingale is still expected to compete at Wembley.

"It is the case that Willow is injured and will be wrestling with the injury," Khan said.

"So, expect to see Willow Nightingale at AEW All In, yes."

Khan added that Nightingale remains determined to face Moné and defend her AEW Women's World Championship despite the setback.

AEW All In takes place at Wembley Stadium in London on Sunday, August 30.

Nightingale's Women's World Championship defence against Moné forms part of a huge card, headlined by Kenny Omega defending the AEW World Championship against Will Ospreay.

The main PPV begins at 6pm BST, following the pre-show from 4:30pm BST.
