American sport takes centre stage on DAZN this week, with the NFL returning, another huge weekend of college football and Major League Table Tennis making its debut on the platform.
The start of the new NFL season provides the headline attraction, with some of the league's biggest teams and stars back in action.

NFL returns with Super Bowl rematch and huge Week 1 slate

The NFL is back this week, with the 2026 season beginning with a blockbuster rematch of Super Bowl LX.
The reigning champion Seattle Seahawks open their title defence against the New England Patriots on Wednesday, just seven months after beating them 29-13 to lift the Lombardi Trophy. It is the first season-opening Super Bowl rematch since 2016.
Attention then turns to Australia, where the San Francisco 49ers face the Los Angeles Rams at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on Thursday in an NFC West showdown.
Sunday brings a packed schedule across the league, including Buffalo Bills vs Houston Texans, Green Bay Packers vs Minnesota Vikings and an NFC East clash between the Dallas Cowboys and New York Giants.
Week 1 then concludes on Monday night as the Denver Broncos visit the Kansas City Chiefs, completing a four-day opening slate for the NFL's 107th season.

Major League Table Tennis makes its DAZN debut
Another American competition enters a new era this week as Major League Table Tennis begins its 2026-27 season.
Founded in 2023, MLTT is the first professional table tennis league in the United States and has grown rapidly over its first three seasons. The league says its 2025-26 campaign generated 76 million video views, while its social following increased by 458 per cent year-on-year.
The new season gets underway in Duluth, Georgia on Friday, September 11, with the Princeton Revolution facing the Los Angeles Spinners before the Chicago Wind take on the Atlanta Blazers.
Six matches will be played across the opening weekend, with Princeton, Los Angeles, Chicago and Atlanta all competing at the Gas South Convention Center from Friday through Sunday.
MLTT also uses a distinctive team format. Each session features four singles matches and one doubles match before concluding with the league's decisive Golden Game.
The opening weekend marks the start of MLTT's fourth season, which runs from September through April across 16 weekends of competition.

College football delivers another huge Saturday
The college football season also continues this weekend with a stacked slate featuring several of the biggest programmes in the country.
The standout game sees No. 1 Ohio State travel to face No. 4 Texas in one of the biggest early-season matchups of the year, with two national championship contenders meeting in Austin on Saturday night.
There is also a major clash between No. 11 Oklahoma and Michigan, while No. 6 Oregon visits Oklahoma State and No. 12 Alabama travels to Kentucky.
Elsewhere, Iowa State and Iowa renew their in-state rivalry, while Arizona State visits No. 10 Texas A&M and Arkansas travels to No. 20 Utah as part of another packed Saturday of NCAA football.
