Speculation surrounding a possible fight between Chris Eubank Jr. and former welterweight champion Kell Brook is rife.Â
It all started at the weekend when Brook revealed he will be making a comeback after a four-year absence.Â
The former IBF welterweight champion shortly retired after his stoppage win against Amir Khan, but it appears the Sheffield star is ready to lace up the gloves once again.Â
Eubank Jr. meanwhile has not fought since being beaten by Conor Benn in their rematch last November.Â
After a prolonged recovery, Eubank Jr. is supposedly planning his next move.Â
A Eubank Jr.-Brook clash is one which will split British fight fans.Â
On the one hand, it sees one of Britain's best, Brook continue his career, but on the other, there is concern for his personal wellbeing with him looking way past his best against Khan.Â
One promoter who is not the biggest fan of this bout is Kalle Sauerland who when talking to DAZN News' Eze Obasi, labelled it a "Misfits fight".Â
"It sounds like a Misfits fight," Sauerland said. "It’ll do some numbers; I’ve got no idea what either of them has left in the tank.
"I tried to make that fight about four years ago, and at the time people said, ‘It’s too late for Kell.'"
When it came to a prediction, Sauerland struggled when it came to the current guises of Eubank Jr. and Brook.Â
"I’ve got no idea," he responded when asked to pick his winner.
"I think in their prime Eubank would win as he’s the much bigger man, not saying he’s a better fighter, he’s just a bigger man. That goes out of the window now."
