'For years to come!' - Eddie Hearn hails Jaron Ennis as pound-for-pound superstar following victory

Eddie Hearn has promised Jaron Ennis will be around "for years to come" after the American delivered a statement victory over Eimantas Stanionis in Atlantic City.
Boots served up a sixth-round victory at Boardwalk Hall to become unified welterweight champion, adding the WBA strap to the IBF crown he has held since 2023.

With two other titles to conquer in the division, plans look to be afoot for the star to challenge his other rivals before moving up a weight class in search of other success.
Speaking in the ring afterwards, Matchroom boss Hearn was effusive in his praise for the star, and hailed him as a boxer to be celebrated by the domestic faithful.
"Tear up the pound-for-pound list, this is one of the finest fighters in the sport," he said. "Tonight, that was a performance of one of the best fighters in the sport of boxing.
"Now he's the unified champion, by far the best fighter in the division. He's going to be around for a long time. You're witnessing true greatness.
"Now, he'll make his way on the pound-for-pound list. We've got to fight the other champions. The future is so bright. He is the future of the sport of boxing.
"What a great man from a great city in Philadelphia, you should all be so proud of him. We'll be back in Philly soon.
"We want a performance where we could stand on the ropes and scream and shout that this is the best fighter in the world. We got all of that tonight against a great champion."
