Mike Tyson not interested in Evander Holyfield trilogy fight, claims Triller boss Ryan Kavanaugh

Mike Tyson is scared to face Evander Holyfield for a third time, in the opinion of Triller chief Ryan Kavanaugh who is currently exploring the possibility of reigniting the heavyweight rivalry that dominated the 1990s.
In 1996, Holyfield upset the odds in arguably the decade’s most memorable fight as he turned back the clock to produce a stunning performance to stop Tyson in round 11.
The following year, the pair met again but this time the fight would be tarnished by Tyson biting a chunk from Holyfield’s in the third session. Almost 25 years later, Kavanaugh wants to see them do it again.
However although the trilogy has been talked about ever since Tyson returned to the ring in a seniors exhibition against Roy Jones Jr. last year, Kavanaugh has cast doubt over his keenness to run it back.
"We have been told that he [Tyson] is scared to fight Evander,” said Kavanaugh when speaking to Sky Sports.
"There has been back and forth hoopla, there is a massive payday ready for Mike to fight on Thanksgiving. A massive payday, one of his biggest.
“We can't seem to push it along. Now I have heard, from a number of reliable sources, that Mike is too scared. He thinks Evander would knock him out. We know he is trying to stage a fight with Lennox Lewis."
Holyfield faces former MMA star Vitor Belfort on a Triller card this Saturday, stepping in to replace Oscar De La Hoya.
