Moses Itauma has a huge fight coming up later this month when he looks to become IBF champion against the much more experienced Filip Hrgovic in London.
Victory for the young Brit will see even bigger opportunities open up for him as the heavyweight division gets a new look with numerous boxers from this current generation seemingly set to exit the sport in the next year or two.
With 2027 set to be a year where new heavyweight kings emerge and replace the great names from this generation, Moses is in an ideal position to stake his claim for the division's top spot but many fighters will believe they are also capable of securing that position.
As well as Moses’ upcoming fight, it’s likely that Daniel Dubois will defend his WBO crown against Fabio Wardley in a rematch from their unforgettable encounter that took place in May when Dubois climbed off the floor twice to stop the Ipswich man .

November could finally see Anthony Josua and Tyson Fury collide and whoever comes out on top in that fight may want to test themselves against a world champion next year meaning another huge fight could be on their horizon.
Agit Kabayel, the WBC champion, is expected to be out before the end of the year, and if he can make a successful first defence of his crown, he will be eager for unification fights after waiting so long to prove himself at the highest level.
Tony Bellew, a former WBC cruiserweight champion who briefly campaigned at heavyweight, is excited by the potential possessed by Moses, but who does he think will be the biggest fight for the heavy-handed star in 2027.
“First Moses must do a job on August 29, but the kid impresses me a lot and I really hope he can become world champion as it will be brilliant for British boxing,” said Bellew when speaking exclusively to DAZN News .
“Becoming world champion will put a huge target on his back, but he knows that’s the case and from what I’ve seen of him, he will relish that and want the biggest challenges this sport has.
“For me, I think Joshua and Fury may fight more than once and they're at a different stage in their careers than Moses so that leaves the winner of Dubois vs Wardley for a massive unification fight next year that could easily do a stadium.
“Itauma vs Dubois would be something else. Two massive punchers going at it wanting to prove they're the best heavyweight. If they both come through their next fights, then that could be something special next year.”
