Former world champion weighs in on Haney-Davis super-bout

Shane Mosley believes that Keyshawn Davis can dethrone Devin Haney and seize the WBO welterweight strap for himself.
The pair have been linked to a possible showdown for much of 2026, after the latter dethroned Brian Norman Jr. last year.
Davis has made no secret of his desire to step up from super-luightweight and take a crack at his fellow American start.
Now, former three-weight champion Mosley has weighed in on the matter - and suggests an upset could well be brewing.

“I like Keyshawn Davis," he told Mill City Boxing. "I [would] like him to probably edge it out and to do what he does.
"But he has got to keep that chin tucked and he has got to be careful. He can’t go in there and think Devin doesn’t hit hard
"You can’t go in there with an attitude, he is a real threat. Keyshawn has got that power, but he has to to watch out.
“Devin has got a little speed, but he doesn’t like to get hit so if you can make it uncomfortable, you can rough him up and beat him."
